Whilst involving notable works these proposed additions (the house extension) were consistent outcomes when considering the development codes within City Plan 2000. This was achieved through efficient design, whereby the owner considered the traditional character elements of this house in order to protect and retain its traditional character whilst also contributing to a traditional streetscape.

Due to the properties zoning this Development Application was subject to Impact Assessment and therefore public notification and advertising. Submissions were received by Brisbane City Council during the notification period, and these were addressed by Latitude Town Planning Services Pty Ltd prior to receiving development approval (development permit) from Brisbane City Council.
