Latitude Constructions Services Pty Ltd and its sister company, Latitude Town Planning Services Pty Ltd, is aware of the technical coordination required to produce all types of medical development infrastructure and associated specialised medical facility construction and design requirements and have successfully completed tasks of such expectations previously.
We anticipate that our role could involve any separate or joint facets of commercial, hospital and medical facility development procurement including sourcing and acquisition of sites having considered relevant demographics, schematic design and feasibility phases, construction interfacing with proceduralists and specialised instrument and medical equipment providers meeting the facility’s operational requirements. It is further anticipated that activities such as programming, budget control, standards and authority compliance, radiation shielding assessment, patient and staffing, traffic assessment, sterile area design, facility and equipment commissioning could be in part or full a facet of our required services which are available from our team.
We are also capable of coordinating and have a thorough knowledge of the engineering requirements of hospital structures, including mechanical airflow designs; electrical systems and electrical back up systems, biomedical engineering compliance, hospital lift systems and hydraulic systems. We also have a thorough knowledge of structural integration into hospital construction and Health Department Liaison.

Director’s Profile – Barry Clough
Barry is a qualified and licenced (BSA Licence No. 1000954) commercial and domestic builder, having completed business management and building trade courses during postings with the Australian Army in the 1980’s. Barry has been involved in the construction and construction management of medical and hospital facilities of various types and is also a qualified town planner. Barry is a member of the Queensland Master Builders Association and the Planning Institute of Australia. Barry has a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Queensland Institute of Technology.
Barry has coordinated the planning, design, construction and operation of many innovative private hospitals, radiology, pathology, day surgery and other specialised medical facilities in southeast Queensland. Barry has over 30 years’ experience in the management and administration of a highly successful construction business and has expertise in coordinating engineering, quantity surveying and architectural consultants and liaising with and coordinating negotiations between specialised technology service and equipment providers, patient management systems and specialist medical clientele.
